After a day exploring the area return to this beautifully restored 17thC cottage.  If it’s cold outside, simply turn on the wood burning gas stove in the inglenook fireplace and relax on the comfy sofas or the easy chair to watch the 40’’ Freeview TV/DVD or play games in this tastefully decorated lounge amid a selection of Welsh Antique furniture.

From this roomy lounge, French doors then lead you through to the spacious kitchen diner where you will find an electric oven, hob and microwave, an American style fridge/freezer with ice maker, an integrated washer/dryer and dishwasher and all the equipment you need to cook up a feast.  Then gather round the large dining table in the centre of this farmhouse style kitchen/diner to chat about the day’s events and plan the next day’s adventure.  Or if it’s sunny outside, why not open the French doors which lead you from this kitchen/diner onto the patio to dine al-fresco or use the BBQ, then soak up the evening sunshine relaxing in the luxury all-weather rattan garden furniture which includes 2 sun loungers and enjoy the magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountain Range. There is also a convenient downstairs loo/cloakroom.

Following a lovely evening unwinding what you then need is a good night’s sleep in one of the truly romantic bedrooms.  There is a spacious double room that has a king size bed, antique pine furniture a TV and an en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath, toilet and basin. Opposite the landing you will find the twin room with comfortable 3ft beds with white and pine furniture and an en-suite with a shower, toilet and basin.  Both rooms have been very tastefully furnished and include lots of lovely little touches.  Both rooms are decorated to a high standard using co-ordinated soothing colours to create a relaxing, calming ambience.

Walkers & cyclists are welcome, and lockable storage is available for mountain bikes.

Siabod is in a peaceful location in the grounds of Llannerch Goch 17th Century Country House with 2 other cottages with fine views towards the peaks of Snowdonia. See our location page for more information about Snowdonia and Betws-y-Coed, or view our gallery of photos of the local area.
